Last Days of construction for
an Overshot WaterWheel on Saw Mill Creek.
Utilizing a 6 ft diameter
water wheel, 5 gallon buckets, this water wheel puts out about 50
watts at 20 gpm and 10 ft of head @ 100 gpm this will produce around
10 amps @ 24v.

Isbell of Solar Montana this Water wheel makes use of a two phase
pulley system, efficiently converting 1 revolution of the main wheel
to 100 at the alternator shaft.
A different trough system was later built to accommodate the rustic
look of this wheel.
